StopTech was founded in March of 1999 with a singular mission: to become the leading manufacturer and supplier of high performance brake components and systems. Core competencies: StopTech engineers and manufactures high performance brake rotors, calipers, DOT compliant stainless steel lines, and brake upgrade systems for the racing and performance street markets. The company distributes OE aftermarket rotors, brake pads and brake fluid. StopTech's ST-40 and ST-60 calipers are manufactured using a squeeze-forged process.

Caliper bodies, hats, and brackets are machined to ISO standards at StopTech's manufacturing facilities in Torrance, California using the latest CNC machines that feature active tooling.

StopTech has received the prestigious TüV approval in Europe for a number of its offerings, and has been selected as the exclusive brake supplier by a major OE aftermarket division.

-3 bottles of Motul RBF600 brake fluid.

NOTE: Rotors, lines and pads are for both front and rear axles. Components can also be purchased separately. FITS STOCK CALIPERS.

Benefits:

Slotted or drilled rotors prevent glazing of the pads, add bite and improve wet and dry braking performance. StopTech's SportStop rotors have a durable black coating on the non-swept areas of the rotor to prevent unsightly corrosion, and quality is assured as the rotors are manufactured to meet or exceed all OE specifications. Stainless steel brake lines improve pedal feel and reduce the amount of time between applied pedal pressure and actual deceleration by preventing expansion, which stock rubber flex lines allow. High performance street pads provide you with higher resistance to fade, higher maximum operating temperature, and better initial bite to allow consistent deep braking into corners. Motul RBF600 brake fluid increases both wet and dry boiling points and prevents boiling even under the most severe operating conditions. Good for street and autocross. Not for extended track sessions.

For extended track sessions, or if you are running out of heat capacity with your current stock sized upgrade and/or having to replace pads and rotors often, you may want to consider investing in the added heat capacity that a Big Brake Kit offers.

This range of direct replacement brake rotors offer a significant upgrade over the factory parts.

During assembly, rotors are straddle cut for the most accurate machining, then double disc ground for optimum parallelism, minimal runout, and near zero thickness variation. A non-directional finish is applied for better initial pad bedding. All surfaces, including the hat, are machined and non-swept surfaces are electrostatically coated with a durable, black finish (unless noted otherwise below) for corrosion protection and good looks. Finally, all rotors are computer mill balanced to incredibly tight tolerances. You wont find a better replacement rotor anywhere. Click here for more details.
