Fitting a 5 or 8 mm wheel spacer to a BMW has always been a big problem because they do not have the essential hub centric ring that locates the wheel centrally and safely onto the hub... it is not possible (safe) to make a spacer less than 10mm width and still have a centric ring machined into it. So fitting a 5 or 8 mm spacer has always been fraught with problems such as wheel imbalance, high speed wobble etc. Also, if you are claiming insurance after an accident, there is a good chance your claim will be disallowed if the insurance inspector notices your car is fitted with non – centric spacers.

Finally there is a solution, these wheel hub extensions that fit neatly over the OEM hub ring and extend it’s length
