Description
The Air Mass Meter ( also known as AFM or MAF) is a crucial part of your car's engine management system. Due to the "erroding" effect of constant airflow passing over this sensor, it is more prone to accelerated wear than most other sensors.

Even when not shown as a fault on a diagnostic read out, renewing the air mass sensor at regular intervals ( say every 40 - 50 000 kms) ahead of any service schedules will almost always improve the following :

- Emissions
- Power
- Engine Response and clean revving
- Idle quality
- Smoothness and drivability

Some particular BMW models are known for having especially fast - wearing Air Mass Meters such as :

- E39 M5
- E34 M5 3.8
- E36 M3 3.0 L
- E36 325

Our genuine Bosch Air Mass Meters are EXACTLY the same product as sold by BMW themselves, only far less expensive offering savings of between 25- 50%

**Remember:

1.If you have not changed your Air Mass Sensor in last 40 - 50 000 kms then you will feel a benefit from replacing it, even if it is not due on your car's service schedule or fault diagnosis read out.
2.These are GENUINE Bosch parts and not pattern parts. They are EXACTLY the same part as supplied by BMW.
